Hansi Flick Appointed as Germany Manager for World Cup 2022

Hansi Flick has been appointed as the new manager of the German national football team.

Flick, 56, has signed a contract that will run until the end of the 2024 European Championship. He will take over from Joachim Löw, who stepped down after Germany's disappointing performance at the 2020 European Championship.

Flick has a wealth of experience in coaching, having previously managed Bayern Munich to seven major trophies, including the Champions League and Bundesliga titles. He also served as assistant manager of the German national team under Löw from 2006 to 2014.

Flick's first match in charge of Germany will be a friendly against Liechtenstein on September 2.
