PHILADELPHIA August 13 2024 After four years of offering free parking to help attract customers back to the system SEPTA will reinstate parking fees starting next month. Parking fees were suspended in 2020 in an effort to attract customers back. A full reinstatement schedule can be found on SEPTAs website but fees will be back on Sept 23 at Fern Rock Transportation Center. SEPTA officials announced on Monday that the parking fees will be reinstated using a phased approach from September 23 through. Daily parking rates will increase beginning September 23 through November 15 2 at 96 SEPTA-owned surface lots up from 1 4.
