Highway 401 Near Kingston Remains Closed After Fatal Crashes
One Person Dead, 28 Injured in Sunday Crash
A video has captured the moment a loud boom was heard in Hamilton, Ontario. The Highway 401 is still closed near Kingston after a series of crashes that left one person dead and 28 others injured. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say that two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the highway.
Additional Incidents
In a separate incident, OPP reported that a man found in severe medical distress during a traffic stop on Highway 401 near Kingston on Sunday has died. Additionally, a driver was forced to swim ashore after their transport truck rolled into the Cataraqui River in Kingston.
